Ray PR & Media was founded in 2005 on the promise to *never* become a large agency and to always maintain one-on-one contact with our clients. Principal
Ray PR & Media principal Devasish Ray founded the company 5 years ago during his career as a print and television journalist. He got the idea to consult companies about how to reach the media after constantly being asked by business owners to feature their company in the news. He realized many in the corporate world had great stories to tell but had no idea how to tell them, or how to get them told. Ray PR & Media was born from a passion to tell good stories, and teach companies how to use compelling storytelling to deliver their brand and marketing messages.
Ray who also is the CEO
of Ray PR & Media is a media and public relations strategist, He
has launched and implemented successful media campaigns and has advised
several CEO's on media crisis management. Ray is an MBA and is also a
consultant to numerous companies and non-profit organizations. Ray is
in charge of Development and Training at the Center for Social Change,
an organization serving individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
Ray is the recipient of the Governor of Maryland Award for outstanding
journalism and is a regular contributor to NPR, FOX, VOA and BBC. Ray
is the former Director of Communications, USINPAC.
